Ingredients
  

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup butter unsalted, softened
  • 1 lemon zested and thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced herbs such as parsley, oregano, basil
  • 4 6- ounce white fish fillets such as tilapia, cod or whitefish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, chopped herbs, and lemon zest until well mixed.
  3. Prepare a baking dish by lightly coating it with cooking spray. Arrange the fish fillets in a single layer within the dish.
  4. Evenly spread the butter mixture over the top of each fillet, ensuring they are well covered. Place the thin lemon slices on top of the fish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
