  • 1 pound strawberries hulled
  • 6 large lemons juiced (1 1/2 cups lemon juice)
  • 3/4 cup honey or sugar
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons rosewater

  1. Prepare the honey or simple syrup: Begin by heating 1 cup of water with 3/4 cup of honey or sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir gently until the honey or sugar completely dissolves into the water, forming a smooth, cohesive mixture. This should take about a minute. If you're using sugar, the liquid will transition from a cloudy appearance to clear; if honey is your choice, the mixture will unify smoothly.
  2. Blend the strawberries and lemon juice: Place the hulled strawberries and freshly squeezed lemon juice into a blender. Blend on high speed for around 30 seconds or until the mixture becomes a smooth liquid with no visible strawberry pieces. If necessary, blend a bit longer to achieve the desired consistency, depending on your blender's strength.
  3. Combine and serve: In a large pitcher, mix together the strawberry lemon blend, the prepared honey or sugar syrup, rosewater, and the remaining 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are fully combined. Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing taste of this homemade strawberry lemonade.
