  • 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage at room temperature

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the room-temperature ground sausage with the biscuit baking mix. Using your hands, work the ingredients together until thoroughly blended. Next, incorporate the shredded sharp Cheddar cheese into the mixture, ensuring it's evenly distributed. Once the mixture is ready, shape it into approximately 30 balls, each the size of a walnut, and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake the sausage balls in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they turn a golden brown and the sausage is fully cooked.
