Ingredients

  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon honey
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 fresh pineapple – peeled cored, and sliced into 1-inch rings

Method

  1. Begin by gathering all the ingredients.
  2. Place the pineapple slices into a large resealable plastic bag. Pour in the melted butter, honey, hot pepper sauce, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Seal the bag securely and shake it well to ensure the pineapple rings are evenly coated. Let the pineapple marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes, though overnight will yield the best flavor.
  4. When you're ready, preheat your outdoor grill to a high temperature. Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.
  5. Grill the pineapple rings for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until the fruit is warmed through and adorned with beautiful grill marks. Serve immediately for the best taste.
