  • 6 hard-cooked eggs
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 pinch paprika or to taste

Method
 

  1. Gather all the ingredients and begin by peeling the hard-cooked eggs.
  2. Slice each egg lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks, setting the whites aside for later use.
  3. In a small bowl, mash the yolks thoroughly with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, mustard, onion, and celery to the mashed yolks. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Season with salt according to your taste.
  4. Using either a spoon or a piping bag, fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  5. For a finishing touch, lightly sprinkle with paprika. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
