Ingredients
  

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 cups packed fresh spinach or 1 cup frozen spinach
  • ¾ cup light coconut milk either canned or from a carton
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder optional

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the banana, pineapple, avocado, spinach, coconut milk, lime juice, lime zest, maple syrup, sea salt, ice cubes, and protein powder, if desired. Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy, making sure all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Take a sip to test the flavor. Adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup to suit your taste. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, simply add a bit more coconut milk and blend again until you reach the desired consistency. Enjoy this refreshing and nourishing treat!
