How to Bake Crispy Chicken Wings
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with a metal baking rack. If you don’t have a rack, you can still bake the wings directly on the sheet; they may not be as crispy, but they will still taste delicious.
- Pat the wings dry with paper towels. Lightly coat the wings with cornstarch, ensuring a fine dusting. Season the wings generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with the vegetable oil until they are evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings on the rack, ensuring they do not touch each other. Bake for approximately 50 minutes, or until the wings are golden and crispy.
Making the Sauce
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it turns golden brown. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan until well combined.
- Transfer the hot, baked chicken wings to a large bowl. Pour the garlic Parmesan butter sauce over the wings and toss until they are thoroughly coated.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese over the wings. Serve with Caesar or Ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
