Ingredients
Method
- Place the slivered almonds into a high-speed blender. Blend on high for approximately 10 seconds or until the almonds transform into a fine, powdery consistency. The blending time may vary depending on the power of your blender.
- Pause to stir the mixture, ensuring that any larger almond pieces or clumps near the base are evenly processed. Be cautious not to over-blend, as excessive processing will cause the almonds to release their natural oils and turn into almond butter.
- Once the almonds have reached a light, fluffy texture, your homemade almond flour is ready to use. Incorporate it into any recipe that requires almond flour or almond meal for a nutritious and naturally gluten-free alternative.
