Ingredients
  

  • Sea salt
  • 2 russet potatoes sliced into 1/4-inch sticks
  • Extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling
Optional seasonings & dips:
  • Fresh herbs
  • chili powder
  • or chipotle powder
  • Ketchup
  • mustard
  • mayo
  • chipotle sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F. Drizzle the potato sticks with extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle them generously with sea salt. Toss well to ensure they are evenly coated.
  2. Arrange the potato sticks in a single layer within the air fryer basket, making sure they don't touch each other. This step may require cooking in batches. Air fry them for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through the process, until they reach a golden, crispy perfection. If they aren't crispy enough, give them a few extra minutes in the air fryer.
  3. Once all the batches are done, place all the fries back into the air fryer for a quick 1 to 2-minute reheat to ensure they are all warm and crispy.
  4. Serve immediately with your choice of seasonings and dips. Enjoy your perfectly crispy air fryer fries with any desired condiments.

Notes

The cooking time may differ significantly between air fryers. If your fries aren’t crispy after 15 minutes, keep air frying them until they reach the desired crispiness. Alternatively, you can bake these fries in the oven. Roast them at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
